The Tamil Nadu Teacher Recruitment Board (TRB) conducts the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) every year for candidates aspiring to become teachers for Classes I to VIII in government schools. The exam is divided into Paper 1 (for Classes I–V) and Paper 2 (for Classes VI–VIII).
